Rob Still
Publishing Director and Chief Designer

Rob is a qualified ecologist and widely travelled naturalist. After completing a degree in Ecology from UEA, he set up his own graphic design and artwork business in 1989 and has been working with computer graphics since their inception. Having acquired a high level of expertise in digital imaging, Rob has skilfully combined his passion for wildlife with his knowledge of the latest technology to produce a series of publications for the commercial and charitable sector. With Andy Swash, Rob founded WILDGuides in 1999 with the aim of producing innovative and easy-to-use wildlife field guides for Britain, Europe and beyond. Rob is also an outstanding artist, whose work has appeared in such diverse places as a British Birds front cover and the Trinidad and Tobago High Commission in Nigeria!

Andy SwashAndy Swash
Managing Director and Commissioning Editor

Andy is a zoologist and professional ecologist with a wide sweep of natural history knowledge ranging from Britain's dragonflies through to the birds, mammals and reptiles of Galápagos! During his extensive global travels, Andy has watched and photographed a spectacular diversity of wild animals and plants - and amassed a portfolio of images of over 3000 bird species alone. As an accomplished author, he understands the importance of clearly-written field guides, which allow the reader to arrive at the correct identification as quickly as possible. Andy's eyes are as sharp when reading books as they are in the field, so very little gets past him at the editing stage of our publication process. He co-founded WILDGuides in 1999 with a commitment to supporting conservation through the sales of WILDGuides titles.

Brian Clews
Brian Clews
Customer Services Manager

Brian has recently exited a long career in telecommunications which took him around the world over a 30 year period. He now runs his own consultancy, County Ornithological Services, based upon lectures, guided walks and survey work. He has been interested in birds since before time began, starting as a young lad in Birmingham. Since then he has spent much of the last 30 years studying the birds of Berkshire.

He served on the local RSPB Group Committee for over 20 years, has written several books on local wildlife and is an occasional contributor to wildlife magazines. He also publishes the monthly Berkshire Bird Bulletin and has done so since 1986. Brian manages the customer-facing activities of WILDGuides, processing orders, coordinating promotions and trying to ensure our stockists and purchasers get all the support they need.
