Credit/debit card payment

The customer's card is debited at the time of processing the purchase by PayPal (Europe). PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. & Cie, S.C.A is duly licenced as a Luxembourg credit institution in the sense of Article 2 of the law of 5 April 1993 on the financial sector as amended and is under the prudential supervision of the Luxembourg supervisory authority, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier, with registered office in L-1150 Luxembourg. PayPal Inc. (which is a parent company of PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. & Cie, S.C.A) was acquired by eBay in October 2002, and is located in California, USA.

After reviewing order details, the customer may opt to proceed to payment. The customer will in this case be conveyed to the PayPal payment screen. After entering their credit card details into this screen, the customer receives a message from PayPal as to the success or failure of their transaction and is then conveyed back to the WILDGuides website.

WILDGuides does not have access to card details unless the customer calls Customer Services and asks a member of staff to complete an order on their behalf. In this case the customer's card details will be entered onto the system by Customer Services but the information is not stored by WILDGuides.

Refunds will be transacted by PayPal on behalf of WILDGuides.

Data are encrypted for the customer's safety. WILDGuides cannot be held responsible for a security failure originating with PayPal or other suppliers.

Cancellation

You may cancel your order, in part or in whole, within 30 days of its dispatch (or within 8 working days of receiving the goods) by contacting us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or calling +44 (0)1628 529297. If your order has already been shipped, please refer to Returns and refunds below.

In the event of an order not being fulfilled within 5 weeks, an e-mail will be sent to the customer giving the option to cancel the order. After 10 weeks the order is cancelled and the customer's money refunded. The customer is advised to re-order after a few weeks if necessary.

If an item increases in price during the period between order and dispatch, WILDGuides pays the difference on behalf of the customer.

Returns and refunds

The refunds terms and conditions do not affect the customer's statutory rights.

Returns are accepted for any reason within the 30-day guarantee period (this period begins on the date on the dispatch form) or within 8 working days of receiving goods. Customers returning goods are advised to use registered post or recorded delivery, as WILDGuides cannot issue refunds for returned items lost in transit.

Please do the following:

* Make a note for your reference of the order number and item number(s) given on the dispatch form.

* Indicate the reason for returning on the dispatch form.

* Indicate whether you would like a replacement.

Customers receiving with the wrong item, a duplicate, or who have been sent something which was not ordered are requested to e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the details (name, address, date on dispatch form, order number, item received, item wanted) before returning it.

Please note that WILDGuides will not refund returns postage and packing charges except in the demonstrable event that the customer has received an unordered item, an item damaged in transit, or a faulty item.

Refunds are normally processed within a week of receipt of the returned item at WILDGuides. Where refunds are requested, the Customer Services Manager will search the customer's order record to prevent instances of fraudulent requests.

We will do our best to provide replacement copies of undelivered or returned items when requested, but WILDGuides' only obligation will be to refund purchase costs. Any replacement item dispatched to a customer claiming non-arrival will be sent via courier and tracked to ensure delivery.
