WILDGuides proudly presented a cheque for �1,000 to Organisation Cetacea (ORCA) earlier this month. The whale and dolphin charity is sponsored through sales of the field guide 'Whales and Dolphins of the European Atlantic'. ORCA conducts research and conservation work in European waters and uses the information gathered to raise awareness of the plight of whales, dolphins and the ocean environment. ORCA spokesperson Gareth Rondel welcomed the support. "ORCA is extremely grateful for this donation and for the publication of this excellent and popular guide, which has helped to raise the profile of the European Atlantic as a whale watching destination." He continued "WILDGuides is leading the way with its commitment to conservation. We can only hope that other businesses follow suit.
