If you are involved in a local naturalist society such as a wildlife or birdwatching group, and would like to raise money for your group and for conservation, why not sign up to the WILDGuides Naturalist Group Discount Scheme.
To join the scheme, telephone us on 01628 529297 or email sales@wildguides.co.uk. We will send you the books post-free on a sale or return basis, offering you the opportunity to sell them at a profit of 35% of the retail price. That means, for example, that for every £15 book sale, you will make £5.25 for your naturalist group.
Any books not sold can be returned to WILDGuides. Having sold your stock of books, please send us a cheque along with a repeat order should you wish to make one. It's as simple as that!
The Naturalist Group Discount Scheme has been very successful for many groups across the country. Not only has the scheme raised funds to enable naturalist groups to continue their important work, but also as with all of our books, a financial contribution is made by WILDGuides to a conservation charity linked to each book sold.
Roger Symes of the Bristol Naturalist's Society said "Our NGDS scheme with WILDGuides has, over 3 years, brought us welcome income, but also these very important books, supported by English Nature and others, have attracted considerable interest in our stand, and helped the Society to promote its own publications and to sign up new members."
If you would like to contact Roger for further information on the scheme, you can do so through his colleague, the society's librarian, at librarian@bristolnats.org.uk
Please note that whilst in the possession of WILDGuides books, any loss or damage remains the responsibility of your Naturalist Group.
Please find enclosed a cheque for the sale of 30 copies of Britain's Dragonflies . This has been a very successful venture and has raised £135 for the British Dragonfly Society. I would like to repeat this venture next summer when I will be running a similar workshop. Many thanks for getting in contact and sending me the books. Yours Sincerely...

Obtaining a varied selection of books from the WILDGuides scheme has brought new interest to the Bedfordshire Natural History Society sales table, stocked mostly with society publications. At indoor meetings and special events we sell the books at a modest profit, creating some welcome funds for the Society and allowing members to benefit from the discount, which they appreciate. Members have reacted very enthusiastically to the interesting and colourful publications and always browse even if they don't always buy. Their guests and other visitors, potential new members, do likewise and we make membership details readily available. With no large initial outlay, this scheme is ideal for a society like ours.
